1990 Bronco starts hard?

It is fuel injected 5.8 motor. New fuel pump, The first time starting every day, you have to spray gas into the hoses going to the throttle body to start it. Once it warms up, it will start without doing this,is there a fuel sensor or something that acts like a choke when it is cold start ? Thx for any help !
