Why all the fuss over pasport files?

Senator Obama's pport files and the pport files of the other two people who want to be president were viewed y somebody who didn't need to. So what's the big deal? Government files are regularly misused. I had a communication from the FCC in which they had made a typo when entering my data into their computer. Within a few days I started to receive junk-mail with the same typo. It was obvious that the FCC sells people's information to marketing people. Why are the McClintons and the Senator better than the rest of us?
