How to make a change in name in certificates from rajiv gandhi university, bangalore?

i hav to change my name in my certificates from rajiv gandhi university, bangalore .. before that will i hav to correct in the 10th and 12th certificates.is it very necessary? will the board people in the rguhs ask for that. i have the affidavit from the gazzetted notary for the name change.
